A chemical reactions is fromed by a combination of two or more chemicals. We can tell chemical reactions occur because of a color change, a heat change, or a realease of gas. Listening to this during class was not particularly interesting, but that changed when we carried out the experiment during class. Watching the test tube as it changed to a bright yellow, or bluish green was an interesting experience, because it put the words of what a chemical reaction was into motion. Observing the more dangerous elements react was even more intruiging.
Approaching class with interest or wonderment is a good tactic to get yourself involved in the learning. As students we pick up maybe 10 percent of the information we read because it doesn't have any other information to attach itself too. Finding different ways of learning and actively thinking helps students keep the information. I enjoyed that class because it put to picture the formulas we had done in class which broadend my understanding of the topic. I learned the importance of taking on learning with a good attitude. http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/food-and-drink/alcohol/1655074-chemical-reaction-in-flask-isolated-with-path.php?id=1655074
